I rented two textbooks from here this semester and it was way cheaper than buying them outright. Shipping was fine, nothing weird, and sending them back was easy too. It’s not some fancy thing or whatever, it just did what I needed. Solid deal if you’re a broke student like me

I rented a textbook for one of my classes and sent it back with a small bent corner that I wasn’t sure would matter 😅 They did end up charging me for it, but the amount was reasonable and they clearly explained what the charge was for. I’ve had other rental sites charge way more for smaller stuff, so this felt fair overall. Taking off one star only because it took a little while to get a reply to my email.

"Easy to cancel, but weirdly hard to find"
I ended up not needing one of my rentals, so I had to cancel it. the actual cancellation part was super simple, but at the same time it wasn’t exactly easy because I had to poke around for a bit to figure out where to do it. Once I found the right spot, it went through fine and I got the confirmation email quickly. So I’d say it was hassle-free, except for the part that was kind of a hassle. Overall, it worked well enough.

I ordered my textbook at the last minute, and my snap judgment was that there was no way it would make it before class started. But it showed up in just a few days, which was a huge relief.

The shipping updates were clear and easy to keep up with, and the package arrived without any problems. Happy overall, especially with how fast everything moved.

I used Campus Book Rentals for my class books and they had almost all of them, so that was nice for me. There was one older edition I couldn’t find on there, which was kind of annoying, but the other ones were easy enough to pick out. Overall it was good, not too much trouble.

The rental prices were good and I ended up saving some cash, which I definitely appreciated. I’m still a little wary when it comes to customer service because I never fully trust they’ll be helpful if something goes wrong, but the price itself was solid

Campus Book Rentals Q&A

I have been trying for the past two days to apply for an extension on my book. when you try for the extension you get a message that says it is not you, it is us and that they are having server issues. there is a number to call but the message says they are not offering phone customer service any longer and that you should email them at help@campusbookrental.com but when i sent an email i got a return message that said... delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: help@campusbookrental.com the email address you entered couldn't be found. please check the recipient's email address and try to resend the message. if the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk. the following organization rejected your message: smtp.secureserver.net. wth... how are you supposed to conduct business with a company that is obviously no longer in business???

I accidentally returned 3 books to you that belong to another rental company. how can i get them back? i have called, but the customer service number is no longer active. i have emailed the help desk multiple times, but have not gotten any response other than to say an agent will contact me when one is available. (it's been 3 weeks now). i need the books returned so i can get them to the correct rental company!! i am willing to pay the shipping; i just need them back asap

What condition are the rentals and purchased books

Do you have a number i can call?

Is there any way that i can contact them(campusbookrentals) since their call hotline is inconveniently down right now?? please help.
